Robert D. Clark Honors College

My Honors College thesis explores the role (or lack thereof) of the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency in the SALT II nuclear arms control talks, which took place during the Carter administration of the late 1970s.

My thesis committee was composed of Dr. Tom Hovet, chair, political science; Dr. David Frank, rhetoric and communication; Dr. Allan Winkler, history; and Frances Cogan, literature (and Honors College representative). Dr. Steve Johnson and Dr. Peter O'Day served as additional and essential informal advisers.

This is my senior thesis for the bachelor's degree in political science. It was passed with distinction, and I graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the Robert Donald Clark Honors College of the University of Oregon.
